Our commission painting service is the heart of Mastermind Gaming. Whether you need a single centerpiece model or a fully cohesive army, our artists deliver high-quality, hand-painted miniatures customized to your style, lore, and budget. We work closely with each client to ensure the final result reflects your vision while maintaining professional standards of quality and consistency. ​ Commission Options Include: Includes all color schemes, clients will approve a test model before artists continue work on the rest of the models. In the case of single figures updates will be sent based on the level of work. • Tabletop - Paint work will generally consist of airbrush steps, drybrushing, contrasts, and washes. There will be a contrast of color and value on most of the surfaces using those quick techniques listed.  • Mid - Paintwork will include all previously listed techniques plus the addition of hand painted markings, 2 to 3 levels of hand painted highlights, texture, and edge highlighting. • High - Paintwork will include all previously listed techniques plus the addition of 3 or more levels of highlights, smooth gradients on complex shapes, small free hand where requested, improved rendering of textures and parts. • Studio - What you see on the box. Artists will adapt your scheme to the paint level that professional studios use to paint what is referred to as “box art”. Multiple painters in our studio have also been contract painters for major projects as well as game companies. • Competition - A completely custom painted model done to your specifications with a paint level that would make the top cut in mini painting competitions. Our studio artists have highly decorated awards from many different mini painting competitions here in the US.
